Who we are
Kenny Fincar Consulting (Kenny-Fincar) is responsible for the personal information described here. Our registered address is Mülhauserstrasse 123, 4056 Basel, Switzerland. For privacy questions or requests, contact stephen@kenny-fincar.com.
Information we collect and use
When you contact us or submit a CV, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, optional telephone number and location, message, and professional information. We use these details to respond to enquiries, discuss career or hiring requirements and provide recruitment services. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information or confidential information about other people.
Submissions and CV sharing
Website enquiries and CV attachments are emailed to Stephen. The forms do not automatically transfer submissions to a recruitment database. Relevant candidate information may subsequently be imported manually into Workable, our current recruitment system.
Candidate CVs are shared with prospective employers only after obtaining the candidate’s permission. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Service providers
We use Bluehost for website hosting, Microsoft email services and Workable for recruitment administration. CV uploads are processed temporarily before being attached to an email. Contact Form 7 does not itself retain a database of submitted messages; information may remain in our email records and, when manually imported, in Workable.
Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms against automated abuse by processing technical interaction signals. Its use is explained in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Notice. Hosting and email providers may also keep technical logs and backup copies.
International processing
Our providers may process personal information outside Switzerland. Bluehost/Newfold describes processing in the United States and possible support access from India and the Philippines; Workable describes processing in the United States and the European Economic Area. Microsoft and Cloudflare operate international services. Locations vary by service and account configuration.
The providers’ published data-protection terms describe international-transfer safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses and recognised adequacy arrangements where applicable. Cloudflare also describes reliance on the Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework for relevant transfers. Details are available from Bluehost/Newfold, Microsoft, Workable and Cloudflare. Retention
Our normal retention policy is 24 months after the last substantive recruitment contact for candidate records, and after the last substantive contact for client enquiries. At that point, records are due for review for deletion or anonymisation. Longer retention may be justified by an ongoing recruitment or client relationship, or applicable legal requirements. Backup copies may remain for longer under the relevant backup schedules.
Your rights and choices
You can withdraw permission for future CV sharing or submissions to prospective employers at any time by contacting Stephen. You can also request access to, correction or deletion of your information, subject to applicable legal requirements. Withdrawal does not undo submissions already made. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
You may also contact the relevant supervisory authority, including the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Cookies and technical information
Technical functions support website operation and form security. Essential cookies may be used for functions such as authenticated access. Hosting systems may record IP addresses and access logs.
